[cut

K:How long does it take for the wax and finishing finish to dryää?

[cut

V:finishing coating, Finishing Coat, dries quickly, in 15-30 minutes. For best results, 2-3 thin coats are required. Once dried, the surface is moisture resistant and clear. You can best apply Finishing Coat with a regular kitchen sponge, for example, so the surface becomes beautiful and leaves no traces of a brush.

Little drying usually takes 30-45 minutes. For some furniture, thorough drying may take a couple of days. Re-waxing should be performed every 12 months if necessary. The wax is put in a thin layer. Repeat if necessary. The wax is applied quickly and effortlessly with a wax brush and the excess wax is removed immediately after application with a lint-free cloth. The waxes still harden to their final hardness in a couple of weeks.

Drying the paint and hardening the waxy paint are different things. The waxy paint Lazy Range and Al Fresco shades will reach their final hardness in a few weeks. Until then, watch out for the paint surface a little more than normal. K:How do I prepare furniture for painting

[cut

V:The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. Light sanding before painting is recommended. Try Frenchic Paint's own Sugar Soap solution to wash away dust, grease and dirt. Wash before sanding to avoid sanding contaminants inside the wood. Also a great product for removing sanding dust. The adhesion can be increased and improved by applying a coat of Finishing Coat to the surface before painting. Even if the paint adheres to the surface without priming, the end result is better and more durable when the priming is done carefully. It is important to rinse the used detergent off the surface with clean water before painting. The Frenchic series Sugar Soap is an ample concentrate.

K:The paint is pretty thick - can I thin it out?

[cut

V:We recommend using the Frenchic Paint series paints as they are because they have good protective properties. However, if you want to thin the paint, always do it in a separate container.

At least don’t thin out Al Fresco or Lazy Range very muche paints, thinning reduces their abrasion and abrasion resistance as well as their wax and protective properties. You can also use these paints undiluted on the spray gun.
