Frenchic natural waxes and Finishing Coats

Frenchic paints have protective properties built into the paint itself, so a separate wax or varnish is generally not needed.

Waxes and finishing coats are used when you want to change the surface sheen, add patina, or provide extra protection for particularly heavy use.

Finishing coats are the right choice when a surface is exposed to changing weather outdoors, or indoors to heavy wear, moisture, or frequent cleaning, for example on countertops, children's furniture, or doors.

Guide to choosing the right finish

Natural wax:
- When you want a soft, breathable, natural surface
- Suitable for creating a patina and fine-tuning the sheen
- Easy to maintain and reapply as needed.

• For woodworking and clean wood surfaces.
• For painted surfaces.
• Best for decorative furniture and antique furniture
• For indoor use

Wax coverage: A 400 ml tin covers at least 10 m2, depending on the surface's porosity and the desired finish. 

Durable finishing coat, matte or glossy:

- Clear protective coating = Tuff Top Coat or Finishing Coat
- When the surface is exposed to heavy wear or moisture
- Suitable for countertops (TTC), doors, and surfaces that are cleaned frequently
- Creates a hard, durable protective surface
- Choose when protection is more important than patina
